These have come through twice now in the last few weeks knocking out power all over the city. It cost our electric company over 80 million dollars to fix what an hour storm did a few weeks ago. Last night another tore through here, thankfully, with a lot less damage.
Here are some high"lights!"
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1

Homeschooling today
Sometimes while homeschooling, I need to be reminded to sit back and enjoy the moments. This moment was a two-parter. My daughter yelled, "Look at my new thunderstorm seat, mom!" I walked in thinking "it will probably be in a box behind the washer." To my surprise, I found her perched in the window cheerfully anticipating the next storm. This has been a long day coming with her. Our other 2 kids love storms, she however, hasn't had the best experience with them. The two-parter comes with working on her book chapters. She loves to read, so she was already working on her reading for the day!
